Election Monitor Training to be held July 8

Election Monitor Training to be held July 8

Attention Potential KCRP Vote Monitors for the August, 3 2021 Primary Election:

It is that time again for volunteers to come forward and assist in assuring that our votes in Kitsap County are performed in a lawful manner. We need qualified volunteers to come forward to monitor the voting process. Many of you have done this before. Chuck DeCosta has been designated as the Chair for the KCRP Monitors to assist our Party in monitoring the election process. This process depends on you the volunteers to do a lot of the monitoring efforts.

Training will be held on July 8, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. in the KCRP Headquarters located at 9481 Silverdale Way NW Ste 235, Silverdale, WA 98383. We will walk thru the voting process and take all of your questions and explain what you are to look for and what you are not allowed to do. The biggest thing you are not allowed to do is talk to any of the workers. You can only bring any concern you have immediately to the County Supervisor on the floor at the time and then to notify me as soon as possible of the problem. More particulars will be provided at the meeting.

We will have signup sheets for the days you volunteer to monitor at the meeting. If you cannot attend the meeting, you can contact me personally by phone or e-mail to work out the particulars. The times you monitor will be very flexible, but should at least be on the day you agreed to monitor.

There will also be a Logic & Accuracy Testing on July 12, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Kitsap County Auditors Offices that you can also attend if you wish. It is very informative.

Please let Chuck DeCosta know if you are willing to be a KCRP Monitor and if you will be attending the training class on July 8 by emailing him at rondochuck@gmail.com.
