"It has been brought to my attention that there are attack ads on former Rep. Jesse Young with my photo. These attack ads are paid for by the New Direction PAC, which is a Democratic group that is able to print or say whatever they want. They did not receive my consent to print the fliers, and I did not participate in their creation. The balance of power is at stake in Olympia and some groups will go to any extent to win."
